What is a 3rd Space?

A “third space” is a social environment separate from home (first place) and work (second place) where people gather for connection. These places allow for informal social interaction, idea exchange, and a sense of place outside of daily routines.

3rd Space Bucharest are happy hour-style networking events that bring people together in a fun way combined with lightning talks on interesting topics. These talks given by community members will be like 5 min TED talks on interesting topics like How I launched a podcast, How I made my trip to Mexico amazing, How I built my personal brand…etc

There will also be name tags, icebreakers, and lots of socializing and networking so you can develop deeper community connections.

This isn’t another transactional networking event. It’s an intimate gathering (max 25 people) where you’ll:

  • 7:20PM – 3rd Lightning Talk 
  • 7:30PM – Group photo, then Mix and Mingle
  • 8:00PM – The end
