Our Bucharest Game Night Built Community

Our Bucharest Game Night Built Community

My friend Lulia absolutely dominated Cards Against Humanity. I'm still not sure whether I should congratulate her... or be slightly concerned.

Ioana and Giorgia somehow knew almost every song in our "Guess That Song" challenge. And Mihnea and Alexandra introduced us to a game called Telegram which left everyone equally confused but very entertained.

That's what Wednesday's 3rd Space Bucharest game night looked like.

What Wednesday Night Brought

It was a night with a little healthy competition and a few bruised egos, but most importantly, a lot of laughs.

We had a room full of people who probably wouldn't have met otherwise.

Why Community Needs Consistency

One of the reasons I'm putting more energy into free member events like this is because I don't think community is built through one great event. It's built through consistency. That means seeing familiar faces, checking in with people, and sharing experiences together over time.

This approach underpins Why I started 3rd Space Bucharest, aiming for real connections in a digital world.

Social Wealth Matters More

The more I build 3rd Space Bucharest, the more convinced I become that social wealth is just as important as financial wealth. I'm not talking about your bank account or your investment portfolio. I mean the people you can call, the people who make you laugh, the people who make a city feel like home.

I really think those relationships reduce stress, improve our wellbeing, and make life richer in ways that are difficult to measure. Our events are designed to remove networking, dating, and pitching to foster these genuine connections.

Building Our Community Together

That's the kind of community I hope we're building together. Judging by Wednesday night, I think we're off to a pretty good start.

We're creating spaces where healthy competition and a lot of laughs lead to real connections. These consistent gatherings help build the social wealth that truly enriches our lives.

It's about making Bucharest feel like home through shared experiences and familiar faces.

I'm excited for what's next.
